  • Sessions are online. Each week, you will get an email with a link to join the therapy session. Sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that you will access on the device of your choice.

  • We work together to create a quiet, private space where you can feel safe to share whatever you need to. Virtual therapy works best in a place free from interruptions and with a strong internet connection. You’ll also want to make sure your computer or phone is charged and ready to go!

  • The fee is $180 per 50 minute session. The majority of slots are self-pay, and I can provide a super bill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you’re using out-of-network benefits. I have a limited number of slots for clients wishing to use insurance, including Aetna, Cigna, and United. (Please note that I am only able to take insurance for clients residing in Colorado.)

  • During your first appointment we will complete an intake assessment to help me get to know you better and to create a solid foundation for our work together.

  • Many clients report feeling relief after just a session or two. (Finally talking about what’s going on feels good!) Deeper change takes longer and varies depending on clinical need and client preference. Many people make good progress in the first three months and are thinking about ending treatment at about the one year mark.

  • Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You will receive a GFE prior to your first session. You can read more about it on the For Your Information page.

  • 24 hours notice is required to avoid being charged. Self-pay clients will be charged the full fee for a missed session; insurance clients are charged $100. Cancellation is required by the previous Friday for Monday appointments.

You’re not alone.
