Pregnancy & Postpartum Support

Virtual Therapy in Colorado & New York

It’s an exciting time, but one that brings worries and uncertainty, too.

Every part of your life is changing.

You’re experiencing major hormonal changes, physical changes, changes to your relationship with your significant other, even changes to your own identity. It’s a lot. So much is written about anxiety and depression during and after pregnancy, and yet, when it’s you, it still feels wrong to have anything but positive feelings about it.

The truth is, some days are a real struggle. You feel exhausted, worried, or just overwhelmed, and you’re not sure what to do about it, or if anything can really help.

Anxiety and depression don’t define who you’ll be or who you are as a parent.

In therapy, you’ll have a compassionate space where you can take a much-needed break from caring for others and focus on your own healing.

You’ll learn that anxiety and depression don’t predict or define the kind of relationship you have with your child or what kind of parent you’ll be.

Identify and explore the factors that are contributing to your struggle—including previous episodes of depression and/or anxiety, a stressful labor and delivery, and your own experiences of being parented.

You’ll get better at noticing when you need support from other people and how to ask for it.

You’ll learn how you can balance the demands of this time without losing your own sense of self.

Here’s what we’ll do together:

You’re not alone.
