Pregnancy Loss

Virtual therapy in Colorado & New York

When you honor your own experience, healing can happen.

As you struggle to deal with your own complicated feelings, it can be hard to know how to talk to other people about it or manage their reactions. Many people, even professionals, don’t seem to understand. And so many things can bring up feelings and thoughts tied to your loss—even your own body can be a bittersweet reminder of what you once hoped for.

You need time and support to grieve, a place to process your feelings and find meaning in what happened.

Take the time you need to grieve.

Therapy provides a safe space, just for you.

While pregnancy loss is all-too-common, your experience is unique to you. Whether you’re looking for short-term therapy to help you through the immediate aftermath or longer-term support, I provide a compassionate space and the understanding that your loss is real and worthy of mourning.

We’ll practice mindfulness techniques to support your ability to engage with difficult feelings, and to “put them away” when you need to move on with your day.

Together, we will honor what was meaningful about your experience, and understand what pieces you want to hold onto as you find a greater sense of peace and healing.

Here’s what we’ll do together.

Move through to move forward.

  • Regain a healthy sense of control about the future, and have less anxiety about what is out of your control.

  • Develop a healthy and compassionate relationship with your body.

  • Feel empowered to grieve and make meaning of the loss you’ve experienced.

  • Feel more connected to yourself, your partner, and friends and family.

What we’ll work on:

You’re not alone.

Change is possible.
